Historic Marker Downtown Walking Tour

The Downtown Henniker Walking Tour introduces six of the historical markers in Henniker. Each of the markers captures several historical events of Henniker in the early 1800’s. There are three ways you can enjoy learning about the markers located within walking distance in downtown Henniker.

Option A: An audio description of each marker and its environs can be heard by using your phone and a QR code found on the back of each monument. Download and/or print the map below which shows the entire route and the historic markers for this tour.

Option B: A copy of the QR codes for this tour can be printed from the file below. An audio description of each marker and its environs can be heard by using your phone on the QR code for a specific marker. Listen to ‘START THE TOUR’ which will provide you with an overview of the markers, where to park and how to find the first marker on the tour. At the end of each marker’s audio description, walking directions to the next marker on the tour are provided.
